Job Description

An ongoing client of mine is looking for a Housing Options Officer to join the team for the next 3-6 months for £28 p/h!

2 days /week - (for the first 2 weeks, you are required to attend the office each day)

You will provide a font-line, customer focused service to both individuals and families experiencing housing difficulties.

You are required to assess housing needs, and provide specialist advise in respect of all housing options, to prevent & relieve homelessness.

You will need to have experience in the following:

Undertake investigations to determine the council's duties under part 7 of the Housing Act 1996

Providing housing advice to applicants, regarding their housing needs

Writing S184 decisions and issuing PHP's

Carrying out face-to-face housing options interviews
