Position Title: Courier Driver

Location: Hawkley Drive, Bristol

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Mandatory 30-Minute Unpaid Break)

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Contract (Peak Period, with Potential for Extension)

Vehicle Provided: 3.5T Van (to be parked at depot after work)

Fuel and Insurance: Covered by the company

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and efficient Courier Driver to join our team during the peak period, with the potential for contract extension. The role involves managing daily deliveries and collections with a focus on timeliness, professionalism, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Deliveries: Complete 60-70 drops per day, ensuring packages are delivered on time and in good condition.

Route Optimization: Plan delivery routes using mapping tools to maximise efficiency.

Customer Interaction: Provide excellent service to customers at delivery locations, addressing any queries or concerns professionally.

Vehicle Care: Operate and maintain the provided 3.5T van responsibly, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.

Compliance: Adhere to traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.

Documentation: Accurately log delivery details, including proof of delivery and any delivery exceptions.

Requirements

Eligibility Documents: HMRC/PTA information and DBS (Police Criminal Check).

License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Experience: Previous courier or delivery experience is preferred but not required.

Skills:

Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

Proficient in navigation and route planning.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry packages.

Additional Information

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, with a mandatory 30-minute unpaid break each day.
