Position: Construction Manager

Location: Woking, Surrey (specific site details disclosed upon shortlisting)

Duration: 6 months (potential for extension based on project scope)

Day Rate: £300–£375 (via Limited Company or CIS)

Working Hours: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a major structural project in Surrey. This role involves overseeing multi-storey construction, with a particular focus on electrical, mechanical, and civil elements. The ideal candidate will ensure the project is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead site operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

* Oversee the installation of power lighting, CMS, and distribution boards across multiple levels.

* Conduct toolbox talks, task briefings, and uphold health and safety protocols.

* Collaborate with site supervisors to manage materials, resources, and daily operations.

* Prepare and maintain documentation, including handover files and compliance with Network Rail standards.

Candidate Requirements:

* Proven experience in rail, electrical, or M&E sectors.

* Strong background in managing subcontractors and overseeing electrical/civil works.

* Ability to handle high-pressure timelines while maintaining productivity.

* Must have a personal vehicle for commuting to the site.
