Days- Monday – Friday, 08:30-15:30

Start Date: January 2025

Contract – Temporary, with potential to go permanent

Pay - £83 PAYE ( depending on experience / qualification's can be paid more )

Axcis Education are working with a primary school in the Birmingham area who are seeking a full-time Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work 1-2-1 with a child in Year 2 who has Autism and is non verbal.

Requirements / Responsibilities :

- Enhanced DBS on the updated service

- SEND EXPEIRNECE - IS A MUST

- Contribute to the health and well being of pupils

- Provide support for bilingual/multilingual pupils (where appropriate to the focus of the role)

-Support children with specific needs, for example, sensory and/or physical impairment, cognitive or learning difficulties, behavioural, emotional and social development needs, communication and interaction difficulties and individual personal requirements.

- Support pupils to access the curriculum

Qualifications :

Preferable NVQ level 2 or equivalent and proven experience of working within children or individuals with special needs
