I am working with a dedicated school in Sutton, London, looking for an SEN Teacher to lead a small class of students with varying needs. This role offers the flexibility of a long-term placement with a view to permanency or a direct permanent position, depending on your preference.

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

• Be the class teacher for a small group of students with high special and complex needs.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across multiple subjects, tailored to meet individual needs.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure every child thrives.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate each child's unique requirements.

We are seeking a resilient, adaptable, and knowledgeable professional with:

• QTS, QTLS, or PGCE (non-negotiable).
• Experience with Special, Complex or Social and Emotional Mental Health needs is desired.
• A strong understanding of special educational needs and strategies to support them effectively.
• The ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
• Versatility to teach multiple subjects and tailor approaches to individual learning styles.
• A passion for helping children achieve their potential in a positive and supportive environment.
