Site Engineer

12 month assignment for a Site Engineer required to be the sole engineer on site to perform setting out duties on a new highways improvement scheme. Working for a regional contractor who self-deliver the works on site on behalf of their client.

Work involves major roundabout, cycle way and pedestrian improvements.

Previous experience of setting out on similair infrastrucue works would be desirable with exposure to roads, kerbs, drainage, services, surfacing works.

Duties will include

• Providing the site with accurate setting out points and levels
• Advising on technical detail and raising any technical queries
• Keep accurate records and as built drawings
• Work with site staff to ensure works carried out to specification

Suitable candidates must have a valid CSCS card, laptop with AutoCAD and proven experience.
