Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting for a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant for the Leeds area. The ideal candidate will be passionate about encouraging the emotional, social and physical development of children, particularly those in pre-school and reception.

Requirements:

• At least a Level 3 qualification in Childcare
• A strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
• A passion for working with children, alongside a caring and empathetic nature
• Strong communication skills to liaise with parents/ carers and other staff
• Having a knowledge of BSL or Makaton is advantageous

Roles:

• Helping to prepare and stock the classroom
• Supporting the classroom teacher with lesson and development plans
• Supporting all children in the classroom
• Helping to support children with SEN needs such as autism
