GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Thanet. Your role will involve teaching students about physical and human geography, fostering an appreciation for the natural world and global issues.

Key Responsibilities as a Geography Teacher:

• Conduct engaging and interactive Geography lessons for students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Inspire critical thinking about global and environmental challenges among students.
• Encourage independent research, collaboration, and a love for exploration.
• Regularly assess and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods to ensure success.
• Promote the importance of sustainability and individual responsibility in global citizenship.

Requirements for the Role of Geography Teacher:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Have a passion for Geography and the ability to convey this to students.
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
