Our client, a dynamic privately owned and fast growing fintech company, is looking for an equally dynamic individual to provide maternity leave cover as Head of People & Operations. Starting in January, this one year contract requires someone who wants to make a difference, thrives working on multiple projects and working to tight deadlines and absolutely loves a challenge. You will be an experienced “hands on”, self-motivated and experienced people and general operations manager or coach.
Working closely with the COO to implement the strategic vision and maintain oversite, the Head of People & Operations will support with the development and execution of their people strategy, with a focus on building an inclusive, high-performance environment.
You will:-
* Foster a positive company culture by promoting initiatives, incentives and strategies that align with the company’s mission, vision, values and reinforce desired behaviours.
* Oversee hiring and onboarding processes to include offer management and induction. Identify and implement improvements to this process.
* Collaborate with managers to identify employee training needs and monitor and improve performance.
* Support employee relations and offer guidance to colleagues relating to disciplinary, grievance and disputes.
* Stay ahead of industry trends and benchmark against peer companies to continuously evolve the company's benefits offerings.
* Work alongside other key stakeholders to build and define our L&D strategy for the future, confirming the required resources.
* Provide guidance on HR issues to the senior team and act as the point of contact for colleagues.
* Manage the HR Associate, setting them up to support with successfully executing the people operations strategy.
* Oversee the work of the Operations Associate, ensuring timely actions and guidance where needed;
- Office management requirements.
- Company-wide supplier arrangements, including due diligence reviews and implementation of the company’s IT strategy and carbon monitoring data gathering and submission.
- Quarterly company meetings and other internal social events.
