As an Early Years Teaching Assistant in Hull, you will:

• Morning Support: Provide personalised assistance to students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, including ADHD and self-harming behaviours.
• Inclusive Learning: Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom for students of all backgrounds and abilities.
• Nappy Changing: Assist with nappy changing, ensuring compassionate care for young children as required.
• Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement targeted support plans tailored to each child s unique needs.
• Afternoon Flexibility: Support Key Stages 1 and 2 as needed, helping with various age groups and developmental stages.
• Positive Relationships: Build strong, nurturing relationships with students to foster their confidence and holistic development.

• Experience: Previous experience as a Nursery or Early Years Teaching Assistant, or in a similar educational support role, is preferred.

• Specialist Knowledge: A good understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN), safeguarding, and child protection practices.
• Team Player: Able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and work independently when needed.
