Job Description

Techniche Global are supporting leading automotive manufacturer to appoint a Vehicle Evaluation & Customer Experience Engineer for their facility in Cranfield just outside of Milton Keynes. 

Type: hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days in the office. 

Duration: 12 months rolling contract 

Rate:  £27/hour. This is an annual equivalent of around £55,000. If opting out of holiday pay the rate increases to £31.05 - annual equivalent of £63,000.

This role will specifically looking at UI, UX, HMI and user experience for a range of features in their new models. This role is to review, evaluate and report on vehicle functionality from a customer user perspective. This will involve testing the features and attributes across the vehicle.

Responsibilities: 

Dynamic and static vehicle testing & customer focused evaluations.

Automotive competitor benchmarking.

Project management, inc. raising and closure tracking of development concerns.

Specific focus on User Interface & User Experience (UI/UX) Skills and qualifications:

Valid UK driving licence

Qualified to degree level or equivalent.

Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications

Ability to make clear and concise written reports and verbal explanation and recommendations.

Understanding of vehicle development processes & vehicle performance attributes.

Previous experience in UI/UX (User Interface & User Experience) development and/or automotive connected services is preferable
