Based: Remote with occasional onsite work

Hours: 35 hours per week
Our client, a specialist Domestic Violence charity, is looking to recruit a Whole Health Regional Lead to work in close collaboration with the Programme Manager and other Regional Leads to assess and understand the current landscape of health services in relation to domestic abuse. This includes engaging with key sector partners to evaluate existing initiatives, identify local needs, and pinpoint strengths as well as areas for improvement.
Synopsis of duties:
Support the overall activities of the Whole Health project by attending project meetings, maintaining up-to-date project plans, and keeping accurate records.
Facilitate ongoing commitment to addressing domestic abuse by assisting NHS trusts in embedding domestic abuse objectives into their service and organisational plans.
Develop and implement procedures, protocols, strategies, and guidance to drive systems change within health services, ensuring a more integrated response to domestic abuse.
Assist the Programme and Project Managers with revising and updating the Whole Health Toolkit and accompanying resources to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
Represent the organistation and the Health team by attending relevant forums and meetings, providing valuable insights and updates as needed.
Draft, contribute to, and advise on reports and presentations, ensuring data is presented with clear policy and practice implications. Provide statistical analysis where relevant and respond to queries effectively.
Collaborate with frontline partners to strengthen and maintain relationships with key health forums, partners, and agencies working to address domestic abuse, ensuring consistent representation at meetings and events.
Coordinate, deliver, and evaluate workshops and events designed for professionals, particularly those focused on health and domestic abuse, to enhance understanding and engagement across sectors.Essential Requirements:
A thorough understanding of domestic abuse, including its dynamics and its impact on the health and well-being of survivors and their children.
A strong understanding of the Coordinated Community Response to domestic abuse, with a commitment to all aspects of partnership and multi-agency working to improve the collective response.
A good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities, particularly in relation to domestic abuse, ensuring the safety and well-being of survivors and children.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with partners from a variety of sectors, preferably including health, with the unique skills required for cross-sector collaboration.
Proven experience in developing protocols, procedures, and best practice guidance to address domestic abuse within health and other relevant systems.
Experience in delivering training sessions, briefings, and providing consultancy on various aspects of domestic abuse and health-related projects.
Strong experience in collecting, maintaining, analysing, and presenting data for reports and visual presentations, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.Supporting Futures Consulting acts as both an employer and an agency
