About the role: This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded school as a Year 6 Teacher, starting after the February half-term in 2025. You’ll take charge of a full-capacity class known for its excellent behaviour, the strongest in the year group, creating a positive and productive teaching environment. Within the class, there is one high-functioning autistic pupil who does not require 1:1 support. You’ll also have the benefit of working alongside a supportive Early Career Teacher (ECT) within the year group and sharing a Teaching Assistant (TA) across the cohort. The role focuses on preparing pupils for their transition to secondary school, ensuring they are not only academically prepared but also confident and enthusiastic learners. Application Requirements:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Have proven experience teaching upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5 or 6 preferred).
• Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
• Be passionate about education and committed to nurturing young learners.
