Quality Assurance Officer Substation Packages required for a major transmission system operator based in Belgium

Responsibilities

Reports to the Interface & Quality Manager;

Is responsible for the Quality assurance of the Cables Packages. (S)He will be the point of contact for all Quality assurance related issues in the Package scope, internally as well as with the Contractor;

Is responsible to implement and monitor the Project Quality Management Plan in accordance with the Project Quality vision and standards;

Ensures that the project team is familiar with the processes and procedures of the Project Quality Management Plan and encourages adherence to them;

Reviews and challenges Quality documentation of Contractors and Subcontractors;

Ensures compliance by Contractors with the Project Quality Management Plan, Contractor quality documentation and all other relevant quality standards;

Supports Quality Control activities during delivery phase as well as follow-up on non-conformities and Quality risks;

Identifies and enacts the necessary applicable quality measures with the companies involved and supports the development of improvement plans when necessary;

Plays an active role in internal audits and external audits (Contractor and Subcontractor);

Delivers regular reports and KPI updates to inform Program Management on quality progress, issues and trendsRequirements

Relevant experience with Quality management with a minimum of 5 years is a must

Technical bachelor/master

In possession of a driver's license

Good level of Dutch and/or French and English is required.

Experience in major offshore, EPCI and/or maritime projects is a plus

Experience in high-voltage cables projects is a plus

Quality and technical educational qualifications in the related discipline

Good computer and data skills

Good project organisation and document management skills

Good communication skills

Travelling between client office in Brussels and fabrication yards, factories or construction sites

Possible short business trips or offshore trips
