Caretaker - Winchester - SO23- X1 Jobs Available

Caretakers are needed in Winchester.

The working hours are 8am to 5pm - Monday to Friday.

The pay rate is £16.17 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Act as lead and front-line supervisor for the cleaning teams to deliver a quality service.
• Respond in a timely manner to any issues with the delivery of routine and non-routine cleaning services, whilst undertaking janitorial duties and planned maintenance tasks.
• Undertake maintenance duties such, porterage, minor repairs, instillation of signage and notice boards etc.
• Work across local sites that are in walking distance.
• Monitor the quality of work, by subcontractors and our own delivery teams, completing quality control sheets as necessary.
• Ensure cleaning materials and power cleaning equipment are operated in a safe and economic manner, and in accordance with their instructions for use.
• Ensure that cleaning equipment and designated storage areas are maintained in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
• Ensure adequate supplies of cleaning materials and other consumable items are available.
• Ensure personal tasks and the duties of the cleaning team are carried out in accordance with safe working practices within statutory, Company and recommended guidelines.
• Support training as necessary to maintain the requirements of the service.

Requirements:

• Experience of industry/public cleaning services (essential)
• Previous experience of supervising teams
• COSHH Knowledge (desirable)
