Exciting Opportunity: On-Cycle Strategic Buyer

With a competitive rate of £32.02/hr (inside IR35) and a hybrid working model of at least 2 days per week in the office, this position offers the perfect blend of flexibility and engagement in a vibrant work environment.

What You Will Do:

• Lead global commodity sourcing through the global sourcing process until the vehicle launch.
• Collaborate closely with Regional Delivery teams and engage with specialists within the Purchasing Function to ensure optimum value creation and delivery.
• Manage stakeholder relationships effectively, representing the company both internally and externally with professionalism.
• Support the Procurement Manager in developing supplier and internal stakeholder relationships for strategic and programme alignment.
• Conduct Supplier Business Reviews, ensuring the Global Commodity Strategy and Supply Base Market strategy is effectively deployed.
• Play a key role in contributing to the future strategy of the company, creating opportunities to cooperate with different business areas.

What You Will Bring:

• Proven negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• A graduate with purchasing experience, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of engineering and international business.
• A CIPS qualification would be advantageous.
• A proactive approach, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
