Job Description

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join North Warwickshire Council on an initial 9-12 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The Role

To work as a Grounds Maintenance operative with the ability to work on a wide range of grounds maintenance tasks, which includes grass cutting, shrub bed maintenance, playground inspections, marking out sports pitches and some low level tree work.

Principal Responsibilities

• To be able to carry out a physically demanding role in all weathers.
• To have the ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Hold a full valid driving licence and be able to maintain and operate a ride on mower.
• To be able to understand verbal and written instructions and complete work documents.
• To be able to use a range of mechanical and hand tools.
