Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join our team in Walsall on a temporary contract until March. You will be working on a key drainage and slabbing project, ensuring precise measurements and positioning of site works. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a high-profile project with a competitive day rate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set out drainage and slabbing works on site in accordance with engineering drawings.
• Perform accurate measurements and levelling, using total stations and GPS equipment.
• Work closely with the site team to ensure work is carried out to the highest standards.
• Ensure all work is compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the site team where required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of drainage and slabbing works.
• Experience using setting out equipment such as total stations, GPS, and levelling instruments.
• Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• A CSCS card is essential.
