SEN TA with Specialism in Challenging Behaviours

Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £85-£100 per day

Location: Colindale

About the role:

We’re looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) with expertise in Challenging Behaviours to join a supportive primary school in Colindale, London.

In this role, you’ll work closely with children who require additional support to access their education, ensuring they thrive both academically and emotionally. Your role will include building strong relationships, implementing behaviour strategies, and providing tailored support that empowers children to overcome barriers to learning.

• Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in managing challenging behaviours.

• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.

• Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and interventions.

• Relevant qualifications or certifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent).

• A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils with challenging behaviours to access their learning.

• Developing and implementing individual education and behaviour plans.

• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.

• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

• Promoting an inclusive and safe learning environment.
