Your Role and Responsibilities
In this varied role, you'll provide essential support to the Operations Manager and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You'll also build strong relationships with both clients and internal teams to deliver excellent service.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing Sales Order Processing (SOP) and Purchase Order Processing (POP) from order receipt to invoicing
Proactively organising service visits and scheduling engineers to resolve customer issues
Ensuring stock availability to complete jobs efficiently
Handling and resolving customer queries with a calm, solution-focused approach
Collaborating with internal teams to address escalations
Maintaining internal resources, including fire alarms, security and power systems
Updating Sage with product pricing and customer account details
Providing project support and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards
Assisting internal sales support teams and liaising with clients on orders and call-offs

The ideal candidate will:
Be a confident communicator with exceptional customer service skills
Have experience in a similar operations or administration role
Be highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Be comfortable in a proactive environment where problem-solving is key
Experience with Sage and knowledge of ISO 9001 standards is a plus!
