Job Title: Psychiatrist
Location: Covering multiple NHS Health Trust sites
Contract Type: Temporary, Ad-hoc Shifts
Salary: Competitive hourly rates (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including medical history, psychological evaluations, and diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including psychotherapy, medication management, and other interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and counselors, to deliver holistic care.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment for patients in acute mental health distress.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
• Stay current with advancements in psychiatry to provide state-of-the-art care.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) and board certification in Psychiatry.
• Valid license to practice psychiatry in specific region or country .
• Experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
• Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and the highest standards of care.
