Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our clients growing team based in Barnsley. In this key role, you will be responsible for supervising and managing a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse processes. If you have experience as a Warehouse Team Leader or Warehouse Supervisor, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including stock management, picking, packing, and dispatch processes.
• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all warehouse activities.
• Provide training and support to new staff members.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels, reporting any discrepancies.
• Enforce and maintain strict health and safety protocols in the warehouse environment.
• Conduct performance reviews and set goals for team development.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Team Leader or Warehouse Supervisor is essential.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, and logistics.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive attitude and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
