Position: Science Cover Supervisor
Location: Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire
Contract: Long-term (Rest of the Academic Year)
Day Rate: 130 - 170 (Dependent on Experience)

As a Science Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Take charge of the classroom, ensuring smooth delivery of pre-prepared lessons.
• Plan and mark lessons for science classes, fostering students' understanding of the subject.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and progress.
• Support the school's ethos of excellence in Education and Training by maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
• Step in for absent teachers, ensuring continuity of learning.

• Be confident in delivering science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Have excellent classroom management skills.
• Be comfortable with planning and marking responsibilities.
• Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and Education and Training.
• Ideally, have prior experience as a Science Cover Supervisor or in a similar role within a school setting.

• Competitive day rate of 130 to 170, depending on experience.
