Job Description

My client has looking to appoint a Site Engineer to work on a project in Sheffield for a minimum of 6 months. My client is a regional contractor who focusses on projects including new build residential, residential groundworks, civil engineering and waste water projects. This particular project is a 55 unit, 5 storey new build residential site

The project consists of a reinforced basement to the front, with SFS Frame. The successful candidate will be setting out levels, working with steel fixers, concrete works and drainage then moving on to line and level on the main building.

Experience and qualifications

Appropriate technical knowledge and main contractor construction experience;

Appropriate CSCS Card;

Comprehensive experience as a Site Engineer working for a main contractor (essential);

Good interpersonal and communication skills;

Ability to use own initiative;

Problem solving skills;

Ability to plan and manage time;

Strong attention to detail

Rate and pay type

£300 - £350 per day (Dependent on experience and hiring of kit)

Ltd, CIS or PAYE is available

Option of using own kit or the client will hire in.

This is a good opportunity to join an established but growing business.
