E-commerce and Digital Marketing Strategist (12-Month Maternity Cover, may become perm)

We are seeking a proactive and data-driven E-commerce and Digital Marketing Professional to join my client  on a 12-month maternity cover. As a key member of the team, you will oversee e-commerce operations, manage Google Ads campaigns (especially Performance Max), and lead SEO, content, and digital PR strategies. This role requires experience in managing paid media, collaborating with third-party SEO agencies, and optimising website content and performance to drive traffic, conversions, and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day e-commerce operations, including product listings, pricing, and inventory management.

Plan, implement, and optimise Google Ads campaigns with a focus on Performance Max.

Manage SEO strategies and collaborate with developers to implement technical SEO actions.

Lead content creation, digital PR, and brand marketing initiatives to engage customers and improve organic visibility.

Track and report on marketing performance, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.

Collaborate across teams to align marketing efforts with real-time stock availability.Essential Skills:

Proven expertise in Google Ads, particularly Performance Max campaigns.

Experience managing SEO strategies and working with third-party agencies.

Strong proficiency in analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).

Strong organisational skills and experience in fast-paced environments.

Excellent communication and reporting skills at senior management levels.Desirable:
