About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Science Teacher to join our team at a specialist school in Redbridge supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons that cater to the diverse needs of SEMH pupils.

Differentiate teaching methods to support individual learning styles and abilities.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic success.

Work closely with support staff, therapists, and external agencies to implement personalized education plans.

Assess, track, and report on students' progress regularly.

Promote social skills, resilience, and self-confidence through creative and practical teaching methods.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Specialization in Science or a related field.

Experience working with SEN/SEMH pupils is essential.

Strong behavior management skills and a commitment to positive reinforcement strategies.
