Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and deliver electrical installations for a large commercial project in Newcastle. You will be responsible for ensuring that electrical works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with proven project management experience in the electrical sector.

Electrical Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage the electrical aspects of commercial projects from initial design through to completion.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Prepare and manage project budgets and schedules.
• Monitor and control project costs to ensure they stay within budget.
• Lead and mentor the electrical team, ensuring effective communication and task delegation.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance where necessary.
• Address and resolve any electrical-related issues or challenges that arise during the project.
• Report regularly to senior management on project progress, risks, and milestones.

Electrical Project Manager Requirements:

• Valid ECS card
• SMSTS
• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager in a commercial setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
• Previous experience managing large-scale commercial projects is essential.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Full UK driving license.
