Job Description

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking to appoint a KS2 Primary Teacher for a progressive and inclusive 2-form entry school located in the borough of Sutton.

This welcoming primary school is looking for a qualified teacher to cover a Year 5 class from January 2025 until the end of the academic year. Some planning will be required to ensure lessons meet the high standards of the school's curriculum.

About the Role:

Prepare and deliver engaging KS2 lessons.

Implement effective behaviour management strategies.

Collaborate with the Classroom TA to ensure lesson objectives are met.

Differentiate materials to meet diverse student needs.

Attend and contribute to weekly staff meetings.

Requirements:

UK-recognized QTS is essential.

Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.

A positive, ambitious approach to teaching and learning.

Willingness to support and enhance the school's ethos.

Ability to work effectively with colleagues, pupils, and external agencies.

Full-time and long-term availability from January 2025.
