Category Manager

Oxford

6 Month contract

£500 per day (Umbrella)

ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients in Oxford with the recruitment of a Category Manager on an initial 6 month basis.

This role is predominantly remote with travel to the Oxford office once a month.

The Category manager will have line manager responsibilities is responsible for the professional services category. This category includes Consultancy, HR (including Contingent Labour), Finance etc.

The successful candidate must have experience in running cradle to grave procurements; including call off from frameworks and either be working through or completed and passed the Procurement Act 2023 assessment.

Requirements:

Extensive procurement and contract management work experience in the public sector.

Experience of managing strategic commercial relationships with key suppliers and major contractors within the Professional Services spend category.

Significant knowledge and understanding of procurement and contract management policy, practices, procedures and legislation.

MCIPS qualified preferred.
