Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to maintain and repair various systems and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely. The Maintenance Person will also be responsible for supervising maintenance activities and providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.

Duties

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as required.
• Utilise logic controllers and schematics to diagnose issues effectively.
• Carry out welding tasks as necessary to maintain structural integrity.
• Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and leadership during projects.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance work.
• Uphold safety standards while performing all maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a maintenance role with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising a team.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Familiarity with welding processes is advantageous but not essential.
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining equipment standards.
