Maintenance Operative

Location: Winchester, UK

Pay Rate: £13.75 - £14.15 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team in Winchester. This hands-on role involves maintaining a high standard across facilities, addressing repair needs, and supporting operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).

Assist with reactive maintenance, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Carry out general duties such as porterage, installation of signage, and upkeep of facilities.

Support the cleaning team with janitorial duties when required.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work spaces in a clean, safe, and operational condition.

Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines at all times.

About You:

Proven experience in a maintenance or similar hands-on role.

Basic knowledge of repair, maintenance, and general handyman tasks.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Flexible and proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
