Currently, TeacherActive is collaborating with some of Essex's best schools, who are looking for dependable and committed test Invigilators to join their team for the forthcoming test periods. In order to maintain the integrity and efficient operation of exams at different educational institutions, this job is essential.

A vital duty for all exam invigilators is to supervise the exams; if you are chosen for the position, you will be in charge of monitoring the test procedure to make sure all rules are followed. You will also be responsible for distributing and gathering exam materials, including papers and other documents.

We are searching for someone who can manage exam conditions, maintaining a peaceful environment to provide applicants the best chance of success. We understand that working in an exam environment can be difficult for students. It's important to help candidates as well; you will do so within the parameters of the exam.

Requirements:
• Attention to Detail: Capacity to stay focused and make sure rules are observed.

• Effective and transparent communication with staff and candidates is a communication skill.

• Reliability: Dependable and timely.

• Confidentiality: Use caution when handling private information.

• Flexibility: The ability to go to various places in Essex.

• Availability: You must be accessible for exams in the mornings, afternoons, and occasionally evenings.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a comparable position is preferred but not required.
• At least a GCSE or its equivalent.

• A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check must be passed.
