Are you passionate about English and eager to inspire the next generation of learners? A secondary school in Finchley (Barnet) is offering an incredible opportunity for a Trainee English Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, starting immediately.

This is an ideal position for an aspiring teacher who wants to develop their career in a supportive and high-performing school environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the delivery of engaging and effective English lessons to students of varying abilities.
• Gaining hands-on teaching experience under the guidance of experienced mentors.
• Building positive relationships with students to inspire a love of learning in maths.
• Participating in training and professional development programs to work towards qualified teacher status (QTS).

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a degree in English Language, Literature or Classics or a related field.
• Demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to student success.
• Be eager to learn and develop through structured training and mentoring.
• Exhibit excellent communication and organisational skills.

Prior experience working with young people in an educational setting is advantageous but not essential.
