HGV Tractor and Trailer Drivers – Petrochemical/Oil & Gas Industry

Location: Wirral

Start Date: January 2025

Duration: 2-3 months

SLR Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Tractor and Trailer Drivers for an exciting opportunity with one of our long-standing clients in the Petrochemical/Oil & Gas industry. If you’re an adaptable driver ready to take on a mix of driving and operational tasks, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

* Driving HGVs (tractor and trailer) around the site

* Assisting with general site operations

* Potential confined space standby duties

* Supporting with various site tasks as needed

Requirements:

* HGV License (essential)

* CCNSG Safety Passport or CSCS Card

Desirable:

* IPAF License (advantageous)

* Previous experience within a Petrochemical/Oil & Gas environment

* Experience in confined space standby duties

* Hot LP Jetting experience is a plus

Hours:

* 10-hour shifts (days & nights available)

* Overtime available after 38 hours

Rates:

* Standard Rate: £15 per hour

* Nightshift Rate: £19.50 per hour

* Overtime Rate 1: £21 per hour

* Overtime Rate 2: £27 per hour
