Prestige are recruiting on behalf of Hull City Council for 3 General Grounds Maintenance workers with Full UK Drivers Licence

Are you an experienced grounds worker? Do you have a clean UK driving licence? Would you like to work for one of the most prestigious organisations in the area? If yes then we want to talk to you!

We are recruiting on behalf of Hull City Council who are looking to add to their fast growing team of grounds and maintenance workers.

The client will require the successful candidates to be available to work regularly from Monday to Friday 7am-2:30/3pm

Responsibilities Include:

• General grounds work and maintenance with in the city and surrounding areas
• Tree planting, hedge trimming and vegetation maintenance
• Excellent timekeeping ensuring delivery timescales are met
• Maintain a consistent and professional attitude at all times following company procedures
• Report any issues and / or damages immediately
• Make sure you adhere to driving time and working time directive
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public

You Must:

• Hold a Category B1 driving entitlement (No more than 6 points, NO DR or DD codes)
• Be age 21 or over for insurance purposes
• Be hard working and keen to learn
• Be reliable with great time keeping
• A JCB Licence would be advantageous but not essential
• Be able to work on your feet for long hours
• Physically fit and healthy
• Be available for Interview Thursday 19th December
