Position: KS2 Class Teacher

Location: Islington

Pay Rate: MPS 1 - UPS 1 (£38,766 - £55,415 per annum)

Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)

Working Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm

Start Date: January 2025

Sanza Teaching Agency is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a supportive primary school in the London Borough of Islington. We are seeking a passionate and experienced KS2 Class Teacher to join their dedicated team and make a real difference in children's lives.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and delivering engaging and innovative lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel supported.

Assessing and monitoring pupils' progress, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.

Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to promote collaboration and progress.

Managing classroom behavior effectively, promoting respect and a love for learning.

Contributing to the wider school community through participation in events and extracurricular activities.

About You

We are looking for candidates who are:

Qualified: Hold QTS and have experience teaching KS2.

Experienced: Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.

Passionate: Inspire and motivate pupils with a genuine love for education.

Creative: Bring innovative and engaging teaching methods into the classroom.

Team-Oriented: Collaborate effectively with colleagues and the wider school community.

Organised: Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

Knowledgeable: Familiar with current safeguarding practices and the KS2 curriculum.
