Adoption Senior Social Worker West Midlands

Are you a passionate and experienced Social Worker looking to make a meaningful difference in children s lives? We have a fantastic opportunity for an Agency Adoption Social Worker to join a dedicated team in the West Midlands.

• Hourly Rate: £33.30
• Hours: Full-time or 30 hours per week (flexible based on your circumstances)
• Contract: Initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extension
• Location: West Midlands (caseload within an estimated 30-mile radius around the Black Country)
  

About the Role:
You will work within a dynamic adoption team, taking on a varied caseload. This includes preparing and completing Prospective Adoption Reports (PARs), supporting children transitioning from fostering placements to adoption, and contributing to life-changing outcomes for children and families. Office presence is required at least twice a week, including one day covering duty in the local area.

What We re Looking For:

• Qualifications and Registration:
  • A qualified social worker with at least 3 years post-qualified experience.
  • Current registration with Social Work England (SWE).
• Skills and Experience:
  • Proven ability to complete Prospective Adoption Reports (PARs).
  • Experience in fostering and moving children from placements to adoption is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic and trauma-informed practices is advantageous.
