Salary: £150 - £180 per day (dependent on experience)

We are looking for an enthusiastic General Cover Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive school in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys variety and is keen to contribute to the success of students across multiple subjects and year groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure students are engaged with the lesson.
• Provide a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
• Offer support to students with different learning needs.
• Report to the relevant Head of Department on any issues that arise during the day.

What We Are Looking For:

• A qualified teacher (QTS) or an experienced cover teacher with the ability to deliver lessons effectively.
• Strong classroom management skills and a passion for teaching.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work with students of all ages and abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with school staff.
• A proactive and positive attitude towards teaching and learning.
