About the Role

TeacherActive is excited to be working with a welcoming Primary School gRAYS that is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for its Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) students. This school is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team. You will have the opportunity to deliver a creative and engaging curriculum that fosters independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning in the youngest learners.

This long-term role comes with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right Reception Teacher.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver exciting, developmentally appropriate lessons tailored to the EYFS framework.
• Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to explore and thrive.
• Assess and monitor children's progress, keeping detailed observations and records.
• Collaborate with the Early Years team to support every child s learning journey.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers, ensuring a partnership approach to education.

The Successful Reception Teacher Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge and experience with the EYFS curriculum, ideally as a Reception Teacher.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their development.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
