Job Title: Systems Test Engineer (FTC 12 months)

Location: Sowerby Bridge

Job Purpose:

Collaborate with the Technology Team to ensure products meet specifications and certification requirements through testing, validation, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute test plans for electronics hardware, firmware, and product enclosures.

* Identify, report, and resolve product defects.

* Validate products against specifications and ensure certification compliance.

* Maintain accurate test records and provide input for production validation.

* Contribute to product development with a focus on cost, sustainability, and energy efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

* 5+ years of systems/product testing in a high-tech environment (lighting or connected devices preferred).

* Relevant qualifications (ISTQB, electronics/electrical/software).

* Proficiency in embedded C, unit/system testing, and full firmware development lifecycle.

Desired Skills:

* Experience in test automation and functional programming (Python, JavaScript, C++).

* Ability to create technical test specifications and implement test plans.

Competencies:

* Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset.

* Strong attention to detail and report writing skills.

* Effective communicator capable of influencing project outcomes
