1-1 Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate 1-1 Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming primary school community in the Risca area.

About the Role

This fulfilling position involves providing tailored support to a young male pupil with Down Syndrome. Your role will be pivotal in helping the student thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience working within a primary school setting.

Ideally, prior work experience in an SRB (Specialist Resource Base) or within an ALN (Additional Learning Needs) provision.

A genuine passion for supporting children with additional learning needs.

A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.

Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council).
