Nursery Manager

Salary: up to £45,000.00
Our client, a well-established, independent group of nurseries, is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Nursery Manager for their purpose-built setting in Reading. About the Role:
As the Nursery Manager, you will lead a dedicated and supportive team, ensuring that the nursery continues to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader, highly motivated, organised, and enthusiastic, with a creative approach to early years education. You'll have the chance to inspire and guide your team while fostering a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education.
Lead and support your team in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Maintain a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children.
Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safeguarding policies.
Manage staff development, including training and performance reviews.

What Our Client is Looking For:
A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a UK-recognised early years qualification.
A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
Extensive knowledge of safeguarding practices.
Previous senior leadership experience within a nursery setting.
GCSE Maths or equivalent (or willingness to achieve within 2 years of starting the role).
