Senior Building Surveyor

South London Local Council

400 per day umbrella

Hybrid working - 3 days on site / 2 from home

The role:

Working within the Asset Planning & Housing team you will be responsible for:

1. Undertaking property reviews, surveys, production of assessment & feasibility reports including recommendation of works.
2. Identification of property repairs issues, diagnosis and remedial works required.
3. Housing and working with residents experience.

Key Skills and experience

• Drivers Licence and own vehicle
• A proven track record of carrying out detailed property surveys and producing reports on remedial works. Able to be creative and develop imaginative solutions.
• At least 4 years post graduate construction experience, preferably working in a local government environment.
• Knowledge of building defects and solutions and the ability to estimate building costs
