CMA Financial Recruitment is supporting a service business that works nationally, with the recruitment of an Assistant Accountant on a temporary basis. With premier offices based in Portsmouth, Hampshire hybrid working will be available after training.

What will the temporary Assistant Accountant role involve?

• Support with general accounting and month-end activities;
• Prepare the monthly recharges;
• Assist with the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process to ensure robust and timely completion;
• Prepare monthly variance analysis of balance sheet and P&, challenge and investigate any variances including trends, and action any outcomes in a timely manner;
• Maintain the fixed asset register;
• Assist in the annual audit preparation.

Suitable Candidate for the temporary Assistant Accountant vacancy:

• Good bookkeeping skills;
• Highly numerate with excellent communication skills, teamwork, and collaboration skills;
• Analytical and detailed problem-solving skills.
