Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a brilliant candiate to work at a wonderful school in the Preston area. This role is till July 2025 but has the potential to move onto contract with the school for September 2025.

Infant Classteacher role:

• Pre-school/Reception/Y1 & Y2 class of 15 children

• 4 children have EHCPs and receive full-time 1:1 support from experienced TAs

• The class is also supported by a full-time TA3 with a pre-school/EYFS specialism

• Provides the chance to work as part of our federation early years and KS1 team, led by a LA Consultant

• Planning for the class will be done initially by another member of the team to support the new member of staff as they settle in and get to know the children

• We have a place on the Lancashire Step into Quality Training which can begin when the new member of staff has settled in - this is a comprehensive suite of training delivered in school and at the Early Years Centre which takes place over a year
