Job Advert: Band 5 ACT Pharmacy Technician - Hampshire

We are currently looking for an experienced Band 5 ACT Pharmacy Technician to join a dynamic pharmacy team in Hampshire. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to both accuracy checking and dispensary duties in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details:

• Job Title: Band 5 ACT Pharmacy Technician
• Location: Hampshire (specific location available on request)
• Contract Type: 3 to 6-month contract (with the possibility of extension)
• Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
• Lunch Break: 30 minutes
• Start Date: ASAP
• Days per Week: 5 days (consideration for 3 or 4 days also available)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting Accuracy Checking of dispensed medications.
• Supporting the Dispensary in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions.
• Working as part of a collaborative pharmacy team to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Complying with pharmacy regulations and maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

Requirements:

• Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Previous experience in accuracy checking and dispensary duties is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
