Inclusion Tutor Milk Education are currently recruiting for Inclusion Tutors in the Barking area, the role of a Inclusion tutor is to support students is to work with PEX and SEN students whilst they are waiting a new school place or specialist provision. As your role as a Inclusion tutor you must have a good understanding of the UK Curriculum particularly in Maths and English from KS3-KS4. You will also be supporting with confidence building, communication development and emotional support. This role will be based in a hubs, libraries and homes. About the role: - Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in need of academic support - Develop personalized lesson plans and instructional materials based on the student's needs and learning style - Assist students with homework assignments, test preparation, and study skills - Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians - Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to ensure student success - Utilize various teaching strategies and techniques to engage and motivate students - Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress About you: - Experience working with children, particularly in an educational setting - Subject specialist and previous experience as a tutor - Knowledge of special education principles and practices is a plus - Strong ability to educate and communicate effectively with students of different needs, ages and backgrounds - Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs - Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple students and assignments simultaneously - Reliable transportation to travel to tutoring sessions (if applicable) - Understanding of the UK Curriculum - Able to plan and prepare lessons - Effective in relationship building - Reliable and consistent Benefits to YOU: Excellent rates of pay Wellbeing support Free Lesson Plans 24/7 access to your personal consultant Training support sessions And so much more.
