German Teacher

Location: Newcastle

Salary: £151.87 - £223.36 per day

January Start - Interviews next week

A prestigous private school in Newcastle is looking for a German Teacher to join their supportive and forward thinking team. The head teacher would like to hear from candidates that are driven and a proven track record of securing successful outcomes and attainment in German. Candidates that have a real passion for their subject and have evidence of excellent attainment are a must!

The main duties will include:

• Planning, teaching and assessing the MFL curriculum
• Teaching Year 7, 8 and 9
• Select and requisition appropriate books, instructional aids and school supplies as needed
• Following the school behaviour management policy effectively
• Promoting independence
• Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teaching Status
• Have a degree in subject area
• Be passionate about their subject area
• ECT s are welcome
• Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)
• A full checkable work history
