ABC Teachers is seeking a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher for a long-term role at a vibrant and supportive secondary school in Telford, commencing January 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4, catering to a range of abilities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
• Contribute to the development of an innovative curriculum and enrichment activities within the Design and Technology department.

To be considered for the role of Design and Technology Teacher you will:

• UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification.
• Experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary level, including KS3 and KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge in Design and Technology specialisms (e.g., Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Graphics).
• A commitment to fostering creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills in students.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification.
