GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a fast growing and highly successful global supplier of industrial equipment, based in the Worcester area. We are currently recruiting for an assembly operative to join their business on a full time basis.

The company are well renowned locally and offer an excellent working environment along with some exciting career prospects for candidates who excel within their specific role.

This position is Temp on going and there will be different start dates in January which will be discussed at Interview Stage.

Shift Times:

• Monday Thursday 07:00 am 15:00 pm
• Friday 07:00 am 14:00 pm

Pay Rates:

• £12.50 - £13.50 p/h DOE

Responsibilities:

• Assemble products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Follow assembly manuals, assembly build orders, drawings, production orders and oral instructions to complete assembly tasks.
• Monitor and action any discrepancies found in the quality of produced components.
• Operate hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
• Make sure all relevant quality documents are adhered to and completed, including any customer specific requirements/parts are fitted.
• Help prioritise workflow to make sure all required delivery times are met.
• Prioritise own workload and maintain highest quality of work whilst meeting tight deadlines.
• Follow and adhere to company safe working practices and safe systems of work.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in assembly or production environment.
• Ability to understand and read engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
• Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for using powered hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience of working within a team and on own initiatives.
• Experience driving FLT s and the use of overhead cranes (valid licenses desirable but not essential refresher training courses can be arranged).

This position has the ability to interview IMMEDIATELY.
